Mid-Point

Today we visited something you can only see if you visit Iceland. It is a place where you will see the North American and the European tectonic plates splitting. They are moving apart at the rate of 2 cm per year. Ok, I don't think you'll see anything move while your standing there, but it is really cool to think about.

You can look right down this gorge to the ocean. But of course it was too hazy to come out in the picture. So, you'll just have to imagine seeing the ocean between the land and the sky.
