Puppet?

The last couple of months we have been raising chickens. Last week one of the little chicks became very ill and we needed to put it down. Jessi decided the best way to do it would be to start the car and put the chick in a cup and place it in the tailpile. So the chicken quietly went to sleep. They brought the chick back in and Jessi began preparing to bury it. Eliza was very sad about loosing the chicken until she suddenly perked up and said. "Ok, time to make a puppet!"

I wasn't in the room when all this was going on so when I later asked her if she wanted to gut that chick and make a puppet she said, "No, I was going to tie strings to it's feet and wings."

This picture is NOT the dead chick. It's one that Eliza has trained to lay like a baby.

It is a good thing that none of you are squeemish! I was getting creeped out by the tail pipe much less the thought of a dead bird on strings!! ;)
Love you all!
